Join us as we welcome author and chef-owner of Revival Café and Mothership, Steven “Nookie” Postal—Sofra’s dear friend—to celebrate his new cookbook, THE NOOKBOOK.

Nookie was Oleana’s opening Sous Chef back in 2001, and he and Chef Ana spent about eight years working together. In THE NOOKBOOK, Nookie shares a diverse selection of delicious recipes that are exactly what you're craving. His sense of humor shines through on every page, making this cookbook as fun as it is useful. You’ll cook from it, get it messy, stick post-its all over it, splash oil on it, fold the pages, and scribble notes in the margins—just like a well-loved cookbook should be.

During the event, Nookie will demonstrate how to make latke, share his journey of building his café empire, and discuss his passion for creating delicious, approachable food—no fuss required.

Then, we’ll taste recipes from the book, prepared by the chefs at Sofra, including: Uncle Aron’s jalepeno poppers, meatballs and sauce, latkes, Greek style sugar snap pea salad, Nana’s cookies, cheesecake & Mayron’s limeade.  Your ticket includes a signed copy of THE NOOKBOOK!
