Easter is a time of celebration and renewal. While the holiday is observed differently around the world, a shared tradition is the array of special breads and sweets that reflect each culture's unique heritage. Sofra’s Easter traditions draw inspiration from classic Greek and Turkish cuisines, with a modern twist.
In this class, you’ll learn to prepare beloved traditional dishes like tsoureki (braided bread flavored with mastic and mahlab), ma’amoul (stuffed cookies filled with walnuts and marzipan), and our luxurious sesame caramel carrot cake.
A note about our dessert classes: In addition to the recipes above, you’ll also enjoy a light savory meal. And don’t worry when your sweet tooth gets satisfied - we will send you home with leftovers to enjoy later!
